Why do we need projects like this?
In today’s contemporary context, Nottingham has a unique cultural diversity. Children live here from all over Britain, but also from all over the world.
We have found this project necessary in assisting their comfort in the city, and to aid their adjustment to life in Nottingham.
According to the 2011 census, 28.6% of Nottingham’s population is made up of ethnic minorities, which is an increase of 9.6% in the past 10 years. This figure has been predicted to continue to rise, our increasingly multicultural society forms the basis for the need for our project.
We hope that our project will provide a form of template on which future projects for other cities can be based.
