A Nottingham man named Frederick Gibson Garton invented this famous sauce when he was working in his grocery shop in New Basford.

After seeing so many people getting hurt on England's dangerous roads, a student from Nottingham High School called John Peake Knight came up with a traffic light system to help with the issue. 

The MRI Scanner was invented by a Professor from Nottingham University. The first scanner was much smaller than the ones we have today, and was only big enough to fit one finger!

Have you ever hears of the brand of bicycles called Raleigh? Some time ago, thousands of people would have worked in the Raleigh factory on Triumph Road in Nottingham!
