Robin Hood

Everyone has a different opinion about whether Robin was a real person or not, nobody knows for sure whether Robin Hood really existed or whether he was just a story. There are old poems and writings which link Robin to real places leading many to believe he is real, and there are lots of theories about who the real Robin Hood was. One of these theories says that the name Robin Hood was not his real name, but a cover to disguise his identity as he would have wanted to hide from the law.

Robin is said to have been a hero with excellent skills as an archer and swordsman. One of the stories often told about him is that he would steal from the rich and give to the poor, assisted by his “Merry Men” which was a group of outlaws.
